Kara began working at Peregrine in 2015 as Executive Assistant after graduating from Queen’s University, before briefly leaving the company to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management at Georgian College.

In 2017, Kara joined the team again as an Event Director, planning the first ever Global Student Leadership Summit and building the EPIC Community. She has since moved into the role of VP of Events and Client Services and enjoys overseeing all of our wonderful events as well as the Canadian Youth Speakers Bureau. Planning events is her true passion and her favorite part of the job is seeing the lasting impact they have on those that attend.

Outside of the office, you’ll find Kara exploring local trails in the Grey Highlands, entertaining friends and family in their newly renovated century home, or lounging on the dock in cottage country with her husband, Jake, dog, Pippi and soon to be baby.
